Job Description Job Description What a day looks like You start
your morning reviewing the day’s work orders, loading your company
vehicle with parts you’ve kept inventoried, and heading to a
customer site. On arrival, you install and connect commercial
washers and dryers to their utilities, bring the system online, and
verify safe, proper operation. If a unit needs repair or
adjustment, you diagnose the issue, replace parts, and confirm
performance meets Alliance Laundry Systems standards. Before
leaving, you brief the customer on findings, recommended actions,
and best practices, making sure they’re confident using their new
equipment. What you’ll do Install, start up, and validate operation
of commercial laundry equipment in the field while following
company standards, techniques, and safety procedures. Travel in a
company vehicle to customer locations for on-site work, including
utility connections and commissioning. Diagnose mechanical and
electrical issues; test, repair, and verify performance and safety.
Provide clear guidance to clients after installation and testing,
including instructions and recommendations. Escalate complex issues
to the Service Manager and contribute ideas to improve processes
and best practices. Maintain accurate inventory on the assigned
company vehicle and submit timely, accurate expense reports.
Support additional tasks as needed to keep department operations
running smoothly. What you bring High school diploma or equivalent
(required). 3 years of experience in commercial, military,
industrial, or manufacturing equipment repair (preferred).
Equivalent education/training/experience considered. Working
knowledge of single?phase electric power equipment (required).
Experience supporting customers via phone/email or a
ticketing/dispatch system (preferred). Comfort with MS Outlook,
Word, and Excel (preferred). Skills that set you up for success
Strong mechanical aptitude; able to read and interpret electrical
and mechanical drawings and troubleshoot effectively. Highly
organized and detail?oriented; able to manage multiple jobs and
deadlines independently. Clear, professional communicator—written,
verbal, and interpersonal—across all levels. Resilient self?starter
who is proactive, adaptable, and persistent. Travel Expect to be
out of town 2–3 nights per week. Hotel lodging and per diem are
provided. Physical and standard requirements Frequent sitting,
standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, stooping, bending,
climbing, and fine manual work. Lift, carry, push, and pull up to
50 lbs frequently; assistive devices available for heavier items.
Regularly talk, hear, and use hands to handle tools and controls.
Valid driver’s license and a clean Motor Vehicle Record required. A
