Job Description:

In Thermal Management MAHLE is one of the world's leading original equipment manufacturers today, developing cooling and air conditioning systems as well as complete thermal management solutions not only for passenger cars and commercial vehicles but also for various mobile and stationary off-highway applications. To increase the efficiency and service life of engines, as well as to reduce emissions, MAHLE manufactures filters and pump systems as well as oil coolers for engine and transmission applications. This way we ensure clean air and prevent contamination in oil and fuel that can damage the engine. Clean supply air is also extremely important for the smooth operation of fuel cells. Your Contribution Our Supplier Quality Engineer is responsible for supplier management, engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and confers with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards. Issues and facilitates supplier corrective action process. Issues cost recovery reports. Manage supplier quality KPI Evaluate and approve Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documents for suppliers. Coordinate supplier quality engineering and/or process changes Maintains records of and controls disposition of "Hold For Inspection" (discrepant) items. Assures Customer Specific Requirements are met by suppliers Interact and support new product launches team for purchase parts related topics Participate and/or lead Problem Solving projects Conduct inspections of products and provide training of team members requiring guidance. Ensure manufacturing documentation includes customer and internal requirements to ensure first time quality product. Your Qualifications and Experience 3-5 years’ experience as a Quality Engineer with the above-mentioned duties and responsibilities T1 Automotive Manufacturing experience required IATF16949 experience required. VDA auditor certified preferred ERP Systems experience required; SAP preferred PPAP, APQP experience required Lean Six Sigma Certification is a plus Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) is a plus Our Offer We will provide a collaborative environment working on exciting assignments, along with ongoing personal & career development opportunities.
