Job Description:
Position Summary This position reports to the Dean of the
College of Graduate Studies and is responsible for innovative
leadership in developing, implementing, and monitoring the
policies, practices, and processes required to meet the
University’s graduate student enrollment goals. The Director of
Graduate Admissions will spearhead rigorous marketing efforts and
recruitment of graduate students. Essential Functions -Ability to
make and implement recruitment and marketing plans. -Ability to
efficiently operate a personal computer and associated software
(e.g., Outlook, Word, Excell) and SungardHE Banner. -Ability to
interact in an effective and appropriate manner with diverse
populations, the University community, and the public. - Ability to
travel and work some evenings and weekends. - Work closely with
APSU’s Marketing team to create marketing materials.
