Position Summary The Department of Sociology invites
applications for one tenure-track position at the assistant
professor level to begin August 1, 2018. The Department of
Sociology offers all of its undergraduate courses via diverse
delivery methods including face to face, online, and hybrid/blended
formats and experience teaching across delivery methods is
desirable. From 2013-2016, the Chronicle of Higher Education
recognized Austin Peay State University as one of the “Great
Colleges to Work For.” Austin Peay State University is a public
university with an enrollment of over 10,000 students located in
Clarksville, Tennessee, a community of an estimated 150,287 people
located approximately 40 miles northwest of Nashville, Tennessee.
