Position Summary The Associate Athletics Director-Internal Affairs reports directly to the Director of Athletics and is responsible for oversight and supervision of the departmental compliance and academic services units, while serving as the Senior Woman Administrator and sport supervisor for assigned sports. Essential Functions o Ability to effectively organize and attend athletic events and programs. o Ability to effectively supervise softball, soccer, volleyball, women’s golf and SAAC organization. o Ability to comply with all policies and regulations of the NCAA , OVC , APSU and State of Tennessee. o Ability to efficiently operate a personal computer and associated software (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) as well as Ellucian Banner. o Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately. o Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information. o Ability to interact in an effective and appropriate manner with diverse populations, the University community and the public. o Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. o Ability to effectively supervise personnel and complete all associated personnel actions in a timely and accurate manner. o Ability to accurately prepare and maintain records and reports. o Ability to maintain files accurately, in paper and in software programs. o Ability to effectively manage budget. o Ability to interpret policies, procedures, regulations and guidelines. o Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with the athletics staff, university community and public.
