Job Description:
What you'll do:
The Staff Accountant II, LBS Balance Sheet, manages the monthly
balance sheet account reconciliation process for a range of
accounts for entities across the organization. The Staff Accountant
II, LBS Balance Sheet ensures accurate financial reporting,
compliance with accounting standards, and effective management of
operational accounting functions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: To perform this job, an individual must

Position serves both internal co-workers and external customers,
clients, patients, contractors, and vendors.
Access to and/or works with sensitive and/or confidential
information.
Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulatory and
compliance (e.g., HIPAA). Skilled in the application of policies
and procedures. Knowledge of Business Office Standards and
Recommended Practices.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Not responsible for supervising employees.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: The requirements listed below are
representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities
required.
Education: Bachelors Degree required, preferably in the areas of
Accounting/Finance.
Experience: 2+ years of experience in accounting, preferably within
the healthcare or hospital industry
Certifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
preferred
Licenses: Maintain Active CPA License preferred.
