We are looking for a highly skilled and analytical cost accounting professional who can work well in a team environment and troubleshoot complex problems.Key Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting (BS/BA) and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification requiredAbility to communicate effectively and collaborate well with team membersAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel5 to 10 years of experience in Manufacturing/Managerial/Cost accountingExperience in forecasting and budgetingAbility to establish and maintain internal controlsExperience in inventory analysis, financial analysis, variance analysis, and inventory controlExperience in tax and audit, including working with an outside accounting firmWe offer a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.Key Responsibilities:Plan, study, and collect data to determine the costs of business activities such as raw material purchases, inventory, and labor, and record the results of findingsAnalyze changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods, or services provided to determine the effects on costMaintain cost accounting system, conduct physical inventories, and monitor cycle count programMake estimates of new and proposed product costsContinuously improve work procedures and processes, including documentation, process mapping, and efficiency improvementsAssist in the month-end close of the general ledgerReconcile finished goods inventoriesInterested in hearing more?
