Inspect food preparation and serving areas to ensure observance of safe, sanitary food-handling practices. Estimate expected food consumption and organize preparation accordingly. Keep records and accounts of food purchases. Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure efficient service and guest satisfaction. Manage kitchen operations including the cleaning and maintenance of equipment and tools. Proven culinary skills, particularly in high-volume environments. Strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. Proficiency in time management and multitasking. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
